(1)Students can grasp the words about the weather:

      cold、warm、hot、cool

(2)Students can simply report the weather by using the sentences:

  Develop the students ability of listening、speaking、reading and writing.

Encourage the students to love the nature and our life.

Step 1. Warming up 热身

1、Greeting.

2、Sing a song 《Thunder》

3、拓展不同地区天气不同的原因。

(设计意图:上课前的简单打招呼,学生能形成良好的打招呼习惯,同时提醒孩子们上课了,上课的仪式感要有。英语歌曲可以提高孩子们上英语课的兴趣,孩子们喜欢唱歌,符合孩子们的身心发展规律。孩子们通过了解不同地区的天气状况,从而拓宽孩子们的知识面。)

Step 2. Presentation 呈现新知

1、Present the new words

(1)Present “weather”

1)T:Boys and girls. What does this song about?

  S1:天气预报

  T: Yes,this song is about weather

  T: Look at “weather”,how to read?

 Present: head  bread  Students guess the pronunciation of “ea”

 Present: mother  father  Students guess the pronunciation of “ther”

Guide the students to try to read “weather”Read after me. Choose some students to read one by one.

(设计意图:引导学生通过复习旧知识,通过知识迁移的方法,帮助学生顺利学习了weather的发音,同时让一列学生起来读,也是为了能够提高孩子的注意力,)

2) Watch the video of the weather report.

T: Boys and girls. Whats this? (Point the video)

S: 天气预报。

T: Yes,this is the weather report. OK, Who is he? I point a student.

S: He is Wu Mingyang!

T: Yes, I can introduce him like this: This is Wu Mingyang. (Then point other students, Students introduce.At last I point the video!And ask: Whats this?

S: This is the weather report.

(设计意图:通过观看英文版的天气预报,提高孩子们学习的兴趣。进而通过问学生是谁,更贴近学生的生活,并且学生们喜欢介绍自己的同学,通过反复提问,反复练习This is... 句型,进而循序渐进地学习This is the weather report.)

3) 简单呈现weather reporter.

(2)Present “cold”

1)T:Boys and girls, look at the PPT! (The picture shows he is very cold.) And how do you feel ? (引出单词cold)

S: Cold

T: Yes,he is very cold. If we are cold,we should put on our coat. Right?

S: Yes!

T: OK! Boys and girls. Now lets listen to the tape and follow it.

T: Now, lets analyse the pronunciation. “c”pronounce what?

S:[K]

T: Great ! [K][K][K] And learn the pronunciation of “o”“l”“d”with the same way.

T: Now,flow me “cold、cold”“c-o-l-d”

Choose some students to read.

T:Look at PPT. (Guide the students to say:) Its cold today.

2)Use the same way to learn “cool、warm、hot”and “Its ... today.”

3)Practice

4)Read the words together.

5)Play two games.

(设计意图:图片直观地展示了冷的含义,通过每个字母的发音,学生们更容易学会单词以及单词的拼写,在居中练习单词,更有情境性,孩子们能更好地理解单词的意思。通过开火车和手指动的两个游戏,提高了孩子们的兴趣和注意力,能更好的练习了新学的单词。)

6)Chant: Warm、warm、warm, it's warm today.

           Cold、cold、cold, it's cold today.

           Cool、cool、cool, it's cool today.

           Hot、hot、hot, it's hot today.

(3) Present: Its warm in Beijing today.

 1)Show a picture and present “Beijing”

 2)Guide the students to pay attention to “in”

 3)Listen to the tape and imitate.(Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.)

 4)Read after me.

 5)Read together.

 6)Read one by one.

(4) Guide the students to say:Its cold in Harbin.

Its cool in Lhasa. Its hot in Hong Kong.

(5)Practice on paper,check the answer.

(6)Work in groups.

(设计意图:循序渐进地用新学习的句型,介绍某地区的天气状况,孩子们更容易接受。)

(设计意图:培养学生的口语表达能力和思维能力。)

Summarize 总结

  Encourage the students to summarize what we have learned today.And encourage the students to love the nature and life.

(设计意图:培养学生的归纳概括能力,同时引导孩子们复习本节课所学内容。同时情感教育也很重要,对学生形成健康的心理有很大的帮助。)

Homework:

1、Make a weather report in English to your

     parents.(用英语播报天气给家长听)

2、Write the four words five times.

   (四个单词五英一汉)

3、Learn to sing “Let’s chant”. 学唱Let’s chant 部分。
